It's always such a joy to see folks enjoying the pool.  Summer break from school, everyone is out the community is so alive.  Be sure to make it a priority to get out and join the fun!

Admission

COST

$75.00 single annual pass

$150.00 family/group passes (to include 4 people, ages 1 and under are free)

  • $25.00 additional fee for each individual,
  • No more than 6 people will be allowed on a family/group pass.

$3.00 daily pass
$20.00 punch card (10 entries to pool)
$40.00 punch card (20 entries to pool)
$1.00 visitors pass (individuals just watching children with no swimming)

General Rules

Admission Policies

  • No one may use the pool unless it is officially open and lifeguards are on duty.
  • All persons entering the pool area must pay the appropriate admission fee or present proof of a valid pass card.
  • Patrons are to follow all instructions given by Manager(s) and/or Lifeguards.
  • Admission to the pool may be denied for any of the following reasons:

* under the influence of drugs or alcohol or in possession of.
*  open sores, wounds, skin infections, and nasal or ear discharges
*  any condition or evidence, which in the opinion of the manager(s) would jeopardize the health and safety of the patrons

  • 3 whistles blasts means everyone must clear the pool for weather related and emergency situations.
  • The pool manager and/or lifeguards may close any portions of or the entire pool complex for any safety or maintenance reason.
  • The Moses Fowler Pool, Fowler Park Board, or the Fowler Town council assumes no liability for loss of theft of individual’s personal belongings.  Items left in pool area at the end of the day will be placed in the Pool’s lost and found.
  • The pool manager and/or lifeguard on duty have the authority to enforce these rules and may remove any patron that violates these rules from the Moses Fowler Swimming Pool.

Age Restrictions

  • Only one person on diving board at all times (includes ladder).
  • Divers must dive straight from the front end of the board and may not spring more than once on the board.
  • Divers are to use the nearest ladder to exit.  Do not swim under the boards at any time.
  • A diver must wait until the preceding diver has surfaces and reached the ladder.
  • Diving is permitted only in the 12 ft area.  Please note signs around pool edges.
  • No general swimming is permitted in the diving area, unless area has been cleared for Free Swim (authorized by manager and/or lifeguard).
  • Cart wheels and handstands off the board or the side of pool are not allowed.
  • Goggles, masks and flotation devices may not be worn when going off the diving board.
  • Swimmers MUST be 48” tall to ride this Water Slide.  
  • Form a line on pool deck, not on slide stairway
  • No tubes, masks or life jackets permitted.
  • Only one rider at a time.  No doubles, trains or chains.
  • No dividing or jumping from flume.
  • Enter slide in seating position.
  • Wait for lifeguard or attendant starting instructions before riding.
  • Ride slide feet first either sitting or lying down on back.
  • Keep arms and feet inside flume.
  • Exit splashdown pool area immediately.
  • No running, standing, kneeling, rotating, tumbling or stopping in flume.
  • Pregnant women and people with a heart or back condition should not use this slide.
  • DO NOT use this slide while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • Failure to following rules can result in serious injury to yourself and others and loss of the privilege to use this slide.
  • Manager and/or lifeguard reserve the right not to allow the individual on the slide if they feel the swimmer struggles because of the water current.

Attire

  • Proper swimming attire must be worn (swim suits, swim trunks, etc.). No cut off pants allowed. Swimmers may be asked to cover up questionable clothing.  

Behavior

  • Socializing with or distracting the pool staff is prohibited.
  • No running or horse playing, such as wrestling, splashing, yelling, snapping of towels, etc will be allowed.  Patrons must walk in the pool and restroom areas. Running, pushing, and any other conduct that may endanger the welfare of self or other patrons is prohibited.
  • No Spitting or blowing of nose into the pool or onto deck.
  • Improper public display of affection and profanity are prohibited.
  • Gum chewing is not permitted anywhere in the pool complex for health and safety reasons.
  • Children’s strollers must remain at least 4 feet from the side of the pool next to the shallow water.

Healthy Habits

  • Infants/children not toilet-trained must wear swim diapers with a swim suit over it. 
  • No regular diapers (children or adults) are to be worn in the pool.
  • Soiled diapers are to be changed in restroom area and not at pool side.
  • Avoid swallowing pool water or even getting it in your mouth.
  • All injuries occurring with pool property must be reported to the manager on duty immediately.

Facility/Food area

  • Food and drinks are to be kept in designated area.  Please put trash in the designated receptacles.
  • Water will be allowed in pool area only if it is in plastic containers.
  • Absolutely NO glass containers and breakable objects of any kind are permitted in pool area.  If you need coolers for medical reason, please make arrangement with staff in the mail office area.
  • No using the showers during 10 minute breaks unless you are leaving the pool.
  • No animals inside pool area unless they are medically necessary
  • Smoking is not permitted inside pool area.  Please see designated smoking areas outside pool.
  • The office telephone is to be used for business calls only.  Calls parents/guardians need to be made by manager or assistants.  (No long distance calls allowed).
  • No playing on handicap ramp and railings.
  • 10 minutes before each hour will be break time.  Swimmers 17 years of age and under are to exit pool area.  Swimmers 18 years and older will be allowed in swim area

Equipment and Toys

  • Flotation devices may be permitted in shallow water at the manager’s discretion.
  • Each individual wearing a personal floatation device must be accompanied by an adult in the pool and within arms’ reach of the child.
  • Large floatation devices such as inner tubes, rafts, etc. are not permitted.  
  • Inflatable beach balls, sponge balls, floaties and water noodles may be allowed in pool area during non-crowded conditions and at the manager’s discretion.
  • Small plastic toys may be allowed in wading pool.
  • Use of masks, goggle and snorkels are allowed.
  • Specialized equipment, such as kickboards, fins or paddles are permitted for lessons only.  May be restricted during open swim hours.
  • Headphones must be worn when listening to musical entertainment devices.  

Weather Related Information

  • Air temperature must be 70 degrees before opening, or could close if temperature drops below 70 degrees
  • The pool is to have at least 10 people to open, or could close due to low attendance.
  • Rain checks could be issued for individuals who inter pool within 30 minutes of closing due to weather.
  • During storms the pools will close.  Due to limited cover, patrons will be instructed to go to enclosed shelter house or leave the facility.

These rules have been established for the benefit of all users of the swimming pool and to assure the safety for all our patrons and to provide enjoyable recreation for all.  Patrons are requested to cooperation in observing these rules and to obey the instructions of the Pool staff. Patrons violating swimming rules are subject to the revocation of their swimming privileges.  The Fowler Park Board reserves the right to terminate pool passes and swim privileges to any patron due to inappropriate behavior and failure to follow any/all rules. (No Refunds).

The Pool Manager(s) or designees are responsible for operating of the pool.  Their instructions must be followed at all time. Should disagreement arise, patrons are advised to contact the Pool Manager and the Fowler Park Board.

These rules are put in place for the protection and safety for all our patrons.
